4smarts Pty Ltd (ABN 70 665 609 129) ("we", "us") operates 4smarts.com.au. We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

1. Information we collect

  • Information you give us: name, email, phone, delivery and billing address, and the contents of any messages you send us.
  • Order information: products purchased, order history and payment status. Card details are processed by our payment providers. We do not see or store your full card number.
  • Website data: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed and how you arrived at our site, collected using cookies and similar technologies.

2. How we use it

  • to process, deliver and support your orders, returns and warranty claims;
  • to respond to your enquiries;
  • to send marketing emails or texts, only where you have opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time);
  • to improve our website, prevent fraud and meet our legal obligations.

3. Who we share it with

We share information only as needed to run our business, with: our e-commerce platform (Shopify), payment providers, delivery partners (such as Australia Post), email and marketing tools, and analytics and advertising services (such as Google). Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States and Canada. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies

We use cookies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use our site, including for analytics and advertising measurement. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some parts of the site may not work properly if you do.

5. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. All payments are processed over encrypted connections by PCI-DSS compliant providers.

6. Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or make a privacy complaint, by emailing Service@4smarts.com.au. We will respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
